Greetings from Stockholm!

Warning: I'm pretty tired, from two nights of nearly zero sleep and cramped plane riding.

However, I'm still stoked! The plane ride over was interesting, as most of the other passengers were more blonde than me. My first sight of Scandinavia was beautiful, seeing the fjörds off of Norway's coast. Norway had a novel landscape to me, with rocky, bumpy planes topped with patches of snow. Glaciers cut deep valleys through the stone, and fog liked to hang inside the valleys. After getting inland a little ways, lakes were EVERYWHERE.

Now that I'm in Stockholm, it's finally hitting me! I'm saying 'Hej!' to everyone and it's good. I bought a breakfast sandwich, more like a baguette, and a coffee, and I like it here already. It's too bad the Starbucks is behind the security area, I'll have to skip it. Everyone knows how much I miss Starbucks =P

My First blog?

It's really only a test. I'm getting ready for the big trip, and I want to see how pictures fit in to the blog. My garden is coming along so well! Nearly all of the sunflowers have opened, I have several squashed on the vine, and I'm looking forward to the tomatoes.
